Army ACHA D2 Weekly

The Army ACHA D2 hockey team has had two weeks to dwell on back-to-back losses against Air Force D3 and Navy D2 in the first ever CIC ice hockey tournament.

The Black Knights hit the road once again to take on the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils and Sacred Heart University in some SECHL conference action. The Blue Devils are 3-2-3 on the season as opposed to Army’s 1-5-1 record. Army and CCSU are actually tied for second place in SECHL standings with three points each along with Siena College. Sacred Heart is at the bottom end of the SECHL currently with one conference loss and no points.

The Blue Devils and the Pioneers will have home ice advantage both Friday and Saturday night, but the Black Knights will hopefully be benefitting from an extra week’s worth of rest heading into the weekend.

Puck drops on Friday night at 8:20pm Eastern in Newington, CT. Saturday’s game commences at 8:00pm Eastern in Bridgeport. Neither host team seems to be offering any sort of live stream, so check for game updates on BKR Hockey.

Go Army!
